The Dry Dock Restaurant has been owned and operated by the Matthews’ family since 2000. This Cape May restaurant features a wide variety of fresh items including sandwiches, hoagies, salads, soups and seafood platters. We make our six ounce burgers daily using only fresh ground beef. We are very proud of our fresh seafood platters including our delicious homemade crab cakes. We have a variety of vegetarian selections including our veggie grill sandwich made with fresh vegetables. Kids of all ages are welcome and we feature a special dining menu for them. The Dry Dock Restaurant also features a large ice cream and toppings bar and features our famous old fashioned milk shakes.
We needed food on a Saturday night and all the open places were not picking up the phone (too busy). Decided to try Dry dock for dinner thinking it would be a gamble since it was an 'ice cream' place. Wow.....food impressive & fresh! Crab cakes, flounder and burgers...delicious! Open air seating....just wished they could move garbage bins away from seating area. Pleasant staff while ordering. 30 mins for food but we took a walk around the docks until it was ready. We will be back. They also have convenient online ordering.
